I thought I did not have enough of one of the threads. I was in a panic. I ordered a new skein, but the dye lots have changed dramatically. Thank goodness I had enough! I am on my last section. Wish I could do it on black congress cloth, but I don't have time to do this piece again. Someone did it on black and it looked stunning!

Hi Beth--I did this piece on black, and it is indeed stunning. I was pleased to see it won several awards at the Minnesota State Fair this year, as well as last year's ANG exhibit. It was a fun stitch! Hope you are enjoying it.

Black! That sounds like a great idea! I haven't started mine, so I can still switch out the canvas.
I think it would be wonderful in black. It would just pop!
