I managed to stitch the Eterna Silk on my butterfly on Spring Splendor piece. It is not perfect. My silk is not laying flat. But I did leave it.Why? I could have ripped and restitched a million times and I still would not have gotten it smooth. It did get better towards the end, but I was about ready to pitch the whole piece. But I reminded myself that I like the long/short satin stitch (or used to in crewel) and there was some cool couching. So once I find my beeswax I will couch the gold around the butterfly and start on the tulip again. But I do need it quiet and I do need time. Does anyone sell that?
