Sashiko: A Pillow Case

I was gone on a long trip and decided to bring this sashiko piece with me.  It was easy to do in the car and I was amazed by how much I got done.
Pamela, I have never heard of the book that you mentioned.  One that I borrowed from the library is called Shashiko: Easy and Elegant Designs for Decorative Machine Embroidery by Mary Parker.
It lists the names of the different designs which I find interesting. I think this one is called Key Pattern.
I am ready to get back to Elizabeth and Ghost Dancer.

I am teaching sashiko at my local library. This is supposed to be a coaster.  I think I will need some help from my seamstress librarian friends...

Bodice Developing

I have been stitching abut 15 minutes a day on Elizabeth.  I try to keep a needle threaded so that if I have time, I can put in a few stitches.

Ghost Dancer Progress

This is taking me a lot longer than I thought.  All those pots with basket weave!!! But it is getting done a little at a time.
